Vodafone has been ranked first for ‘Fastest UK Network’

Vodafone has been ranked first, out of all UK network providers, for mobile network performance. Vodafone, on average, achieved download speeds of 50 MBps and upload speeds of 13 MBps in comparison to other providers who achieved download of 37MBps and uploads of 11MBps.

Network testing company nPerf has announced that Vodafone has ranked first, out of all UK network providers, for mobile network performance. The testing was carried out by 42,000 individual members of the public using the nPerf application.

Vodafone, on average, achieved download speeds of 50 MBps and upload speeds of 13 MBps in comparison to other providers who achieved download of 37MBps and uploads of 11MBps.

This also comes off the back of Vodafone’s network being found ahead in the latest report from umlaut, being named the ‘UK’s most improved mobile network’. Vodafone has been found to have the best network in cities such as Bristol and Manchester and has been named as the co-best network for voice calls; for when you need it most.

This is indicative of Vodafone’s push to invest in their network, with a £4.5bn investment over the past 5 years. It also comes alongside their endeavours to provide coverage in rural and areas and better performance at busy social events across the country.
